Using a nasal spray in children

Flo Kids Saline Nasal Spray features a thumb drive pump that makes it really easy to use, so children can even administer it themselves!  Children are often more likely to co-operate when they are involved in their own treatment. Get them into the habit of using their saline nasal spray at bath/shower time or when they are brushing their teeth. They often feel good about doing it themselves and they will have a clearer nose before going to sleep. Flo Kids Saline Nasal Spray has an easy thumb drive and pump which allows it to be used at any angle, making it quick and easy to use. Here’s how:

1. Get your child to sit or stand in a comfortable position.
2. Position the Flo Kids Saline Nasal Spray applicator tip just below the child’s nostril and insert the required dose into each nostril.
3. Wipe their nose with a soft clean tissue (or get them to do themselves!).
4. All Flo Kids packs include a Consumer Information Leaflet giving detailed instructions and further information.

A clear nose is important

A child’s nasal passages can easily become blocked when excess mucus is produced due to colds, viral infections, allergies, or hay fever.

Flo Kids is an isotonic saline solution with added minerals. It can be used to moisturize nasal tissue, clear nasal passages and thin and wash away excess mucus (produced by colds or allergies/hay fever). INGREDIENT: Sodium Chloride, Sodium bicarbonate(anhydrous) potassium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium hexahydrate and water at pH 7 – 8.5. There are no preservatives and no other chemical additives.
