DIRECTION
1. Wait half an hour after showering or bathing, eating, drinking or smoking.
2. Before using, wipe the probe with an alcohol swab, then place in position (oral, rectal, axillary).
3. Press the on/off button to activate. The unit will beep and the display will read 88.88E about 2 seconds, showing digits are in working order. After all segments show, the last-time temperature will appear about 2 seconds.
4. Followed last-time temperature record, the standard temperature reading of 37.00C will appear. After that, the word Lo and a flashing C appear, the thermometer is in ‘ready to measure’ mode. (N.B. If the room temperature is higher than 32.00C, the room temperature will be displayed instead of the word Lo.)
5. Once the degree sign (C) on the display stops flashing, the correct temperature will appear accompanied by a long beeping sound in 10 seconds. The temperature reading will not change after the unit is removed from the area of measurement. 6. Press ON/OFF button to turn off the unit. (The unit will automatically turn off after 10 minutes). However, to prolong the life of the battery, press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit off manually.

- Do not store the unit where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, dust or humidity. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Do not use boiling water, gas or steam autoclaves.
- Do not drop or disassemble the unit. This thermometer is a fragile and is not shock proof.
- Do not attempt to open the unit except to replace the battery.
- This unit contains small parts which may be swallowed by children. Do not leave this thermometer with a child if unattended by an adult.
- Do not bend the unit.
